【仕事】Crunch Time

いわば、忙しい、試練のとき、追い込み
という意味で僕たちの業界は
"Crunch Time"という言葉を使います。

僕は今、どういう訳か
始まった瞬間からこのCrunch Time真っただ中のプロジェクトにいます。

ディレクターは事の危うさのあまり
土曜も日曜も無い状況に追い込まれています。
なんとか彼を支えて、なおかつ良いモノに仕上げようと想います。
切に。

この間、別業種の英語ネイティブの方と話せる機会があったので
僕は今Crunch Timeなんだ。っていうと
僕らの業界では同じ意味を別の言葉で言うよって言われました。

Crunch Time自体がスラングで
それほど市民権を得てないんですね。
僕がこんな事を言うもんだから、英語いける人と勘違いされて
ほとんど会話にならないという切ない結果になりました。

【work】Crunch Time
Crunch Time that means "so busy",
this word is so famous in my business field.

Somehow I'm assigned with the project
that is crunch time since just started.

This project director is crunched like
no taking rest,Sunday and also Saturday.
I definitely support him so that get success of this work,
seriously.

a few days ago,
I got the opportunity to talk to Native English person
who is working on similar to my business field.
I told them "I'm in crunch time..",
then they tole me "we say different words to explain this word".

I suppose words"Crunch Time"is slung,
so all can't understand the meaning correctly.
because I said such a words at that time,
they thought I can speak English well,
I could not almost understand their talking..

keep studying moreover.

【読書】昭和という国家 感想

司馬遼太郎先生の『昭和という国家』を
涙ながらに読み終えました。
(It is hard to translate into English)
誤解無く書きたいので、イイ本の感想はいつも長くなります。

内容は、氏の出演するNHKのドキュメント映像作品を、活字化したものです。
昭和初期(20年まで)を、12の章に分けて書いてあります。

氏の描く昭和はかなり辛辣で、日本を呪いたくなるような時もあります。
僕のおじいちゃんおばあちゃんが、青春として生きていた時代なので
理屈としては理解していたつもりですが、やはり辛いです。

作品の中には、たくさんの名文がちりばめられています。
戦後、高度経済成長期を経、偏差値という絶対的なモノに
人間の多様性(個性でもオケ)が失われつつある
今の日本の状況を憂い想われたのでしょう。

戦前日本は、アジアや他の国に対して、大変な事をしてきました。
そんな日本人が生きていく為には、
「お前はこんな自己をもっているんだ
オレの周りには、こんな面白い多様性をもっている人がいるんだ」と
相手の事(国)を理解して、相手の痛みを自分の事のように感じる心が必要だと。

真心です。
日本人が好きな言葉、真心。
貴方達が大好きな江戸時代の侍は、この真心をもってました。
(江戸時代には多種多様な文化が満ちあふれていた)
これは、日本人の中に共通してある美徳です。

そういう人がたくさん出てくる以外に、日本人が生きていく方法はないと。
それが無い社会からは何も生まれない。
個人も、国も、集団も、発生する現象としては一緒です。
強くも、優しい救われる言葉だと感じました。

くだけて言うと
ギスギスするな馬鹿タレ、貧乏くじ引いても良いやろうが。
何か生み出そうとしとるんやったら尚の事たい、ということです。

最後に、作品中に最も残った言葉です。
この本が創刊されたときまだ10代だった僕たちに
「つぎの時代を担う若い人びとに、ぜひ読んでいただきたいと思う」と。

【日常】LSD(Long Slow Distance)

LSDとはLong Slow Distanceといって
ランニングトレーニングの方法の事を言います。
要は、長くゆっくり走るという事です。

最近ランニングがやけにはやっているのと
比例してランニング中毒者が出てきています。

それは、毎日毎日ずっとスピードトレーニングや
ペースランを繰り返し続けて、完全に依存している状態です。
チョー、チモキーのも分かりますがね…

筋肉はトレーニングを毎日やっても壊れるだけで
うまく強化できません。

いやでも2,3日毎に、トレーニングし
時間がある時にあえてペースを落としてLSDを実行する事で
理想に近づくのです。

LSD is a kind of running training method,

Recently,Running has caught on in Japan.
Runner is increasing as
running addict is increasing in proportion!

Running addict is the who can't stop run everyday,
so to speak dependent on running deeply.
of course I know that is so comfortable.

But It is not efficient to do muscle training everyday,
that need to rest at least 24 hours.

Runners have to get resting quite well,
then they try to do LSD so that you reach for your ideal.

【思考】ストイシズムとエゴイズム

ストイシズムって何かを成し遂げようとしている人には
美学かなにか尊いものに感じてしまうのでしょうか?

それを絶対のモノと思って、暴走しだすと
ストイシズムの真逆の、利己(エゴイズム)の固まりになる気がします。

なぜこんな事を書こうと思ったかというと
年の初めという事もあり、もう一度自分を
結晶に分解して見つめ直そうと思ったからです。

その機会を与えてくれた人たちに
心から感謝します。

本当はテーマを粕にしぼって
自分に対して、自虐的なポストにしようと思っていましたが
それだと、あまりポジティブではないので変更しました。

【Thought】Stoicism and Egoism
I suppose Stoicism is virtue for the who try to get succeed.
but if they are feeling that Stoicism is absolute and acting alone for it,
their Stoicism is really change into Egoism against their will.

The reason why I post such a thing is

but turning out,I posted a positive topic for all.

【仕事】想い

仕事でやりたかった事を伝える機会を得る事が出来ました。
もうただそれだけなのに嬉しくてたまりません。

しっかりがんばろうと思いました。

普段とは違う事をやる訳ですが
不思議と自信があります。
訳の無い自信は、僕の取り柄かもしれません。

うまく行く事を切に願いますし
かなえたいと思います。

I got the opportunity to tell my co-officers
what I want to do.
I'm really feeling glad so much.

I'll try to make an effort over and over from now!
though I have to do the different from routine,
somehow I have a confidence to success,
that is supposed only my recommendation.

【英語】使役

I learned causative verbs in office English training today,
Kind of causative verbs is "make","get","have" and "let".
Those are so famous(basic),right?

I suppose "let"is most famous verb,for example of expression,you say
"let me see",when you are going to think about something,
"let me know",when you want to get some answers.

strong ordering of causative verbs is
make > get > have > let

How to express causative in English grammar is
S V O V
first verb position is in "make" or "get" or "have" and "let" as I noted before,
then you have to put in a bare verb in second verb position.

In particular case
Only when you put in "get" in first verb position,
you have to put into "to V" instead of a bare verb on second verb position.


Next,
causative verb is useful to express passive condition,
for example,"I got my watch repaired".
How to express causative passive in English grammar is
S V O PP
but in this case,
you don couldn't put in "make" and "let" on first verb position.

It is easily to study together!
Never forget.

【英語】会計

I'm studying English sometimes for communicating.
so I'd like to post useful phrases in this category,
of course here is English only.

today's phrase is to useful for your payment situation.
When you want to pay a bill,
you have to say "It's on me"right!
and when you want to share,
you have to shout "split the bill".

Though I won't get opportunities to say "It's on me",
I try to keep up so that I can say so haha.
Never forget.

【音楽】luv (sic)

2000年の夏頃くらいだったでしょうか
大学の友人があのShing02と一緒にライブをやってから
はや11年。

彼の音楽に出会ってからずっと彼の音楽を聴いています。
luv(sic)のシリーズもpart5までリリースされました。

shing02のブログを読む限り、luv(sic)シリーズには
一貫したストーリがあって、4以降の事が書いてありました。

4は初恋、5は別れ、6は再会という流れで進むはずが
5については、事情があって死別について書かれる事になりました。
恐らくluv(sic)シリーズのパートナーだったnujabesの事でしょう。
shing02は近しい人を失った人に向けて書いたと言っています。

鬱々とした音楽ですが、本当に響きます。

I listen to Shing02 songs
since my univ friend is on the set with Shing02 in 2000.
Time whizzes by haha.

His famous series "luv (sic)"
released part 5 a little while ago.

It has consecutive story that part 4 is about first love,
part 5 is about parting and 6 is reuniting.

As it turns out, 5 is about the ultimate parting,
it’s very somber but it resonates with me deeply.
This track goes out to everybody who’s lost anybody close.

【思考】のび太さんについて

ドラえもんのメインキャラクターの
野比のび太こと"のびたさん"について思う事があります。
(のび太さんは僕の中で敬称です)

のび太さんとは
何をやってもだめ、眼鏡をかけていて、いつもいじめられています。
そこにドラえもんがやってきて色々世話をする訳です。

ドラえもんの作者の藤子さんの、真意は分かりませんが
駄目で連想できる、一般的な日本人を描きたかったのかもしれません。
その彼が、長編ではその持ち前の愛で活躍します。

以前に読んだ本に
日本人とは本来、正直で思いやりの心を持つ
頼もしい性格をもつ人々だったと書いてある本を読みました。

ノビタさんのいいところであり、全ての要素は
僕はここにあると思います。

彼は、正直で思いやりがあり
それが故しずかちゃんを射止めました。
しずかちゃんが本当に幸せになれるのは
彼をハズバンドにしない限りあり得ない
と言える位確信しています。

今更ですが、のび太さんに憧れています。

私たちが気持ちよく、清らかに営むには
他のすべて(僕の場合は塵ほどの自尊心)を犠牲にしても
この頼もしさを持つ意外に無いのでしょうね。

Nobita he is featuring in famous Japanese Manga
"Doraemon" published by Fujiko,F,Fujio.
I could see the precious thing in his activity.

"Doraemon" main story line is
Mr.Nobita is beaten by others very often,
and Doraemon that is cat form robot come to help his future
from 21 century.

basically,
Japanese have kindness and hospitality in our own mind,

I definitely think that Nobita has this sense
Japanese primitively has,
they are all for him.

He is honesty and kind for all
so he got married Shizuka,she is heroine of this title.
I think so to speak she has a only choice to get happy,
I mean it!

I wanna be someone like him.

If we want to live as human,
in my case I should let go off my fuckin pride,
All we have to do is getting this feeling.

【読書】人間の集団について 感想

司馬遼太郎先生の『人間の集団について』を読みました。
内容は、ベトナムから人間の集団について考える
思想書のようなエッセイです。
(not translating,cos it is too hard to express in English)

国家の成立
ベトナム戦争
日本人の国民性
都市生活者の孤独
食べる、寝る、愛する
宗教
命の価値
アジアにおける資本主義、共産主義

と重いテーマがたくさん扱われている本作において
僕が特に感じた部分について述べたいと思います。

ベトナム人と日本人はにている。

ベトナムという国は、ベトナム戦争以前、つまりアメリカの資本が入ってくる以前は
メコンデルタの肥沃な土地を耕す農業国家でした。

道ですれ違う際に目が合うと、にこっと微笑み
アカの他人であっても、道で苦しんでいる人がいると
一晩中でも看病する優しさ

氏はこういった民族に対し、懐かしさを感じています。

大正時代における日本も、70%以上の国民が田畑を耕していた農耕産業国でした。
たった二世代でこのような、同業種の企業同士が狂ったように競争する
国になってしまいました。

大正時代の日本人を現代につれてくるだけで
３日も持たずに精神的以上をきたして死んでしまうくらい異常だと氏はいいます。
僕たちがこの狂った世の中で平気なのが滑稽ですが
心のどこかに、かつての人間らしい社会に回帰したいという思いがあるのです。

少し前まで同じ農業国だった、日本とベトナム人の
民族の質がとても良く似ているのでしょう。

作者はベトナムについてこういっています。
サイゴンで現地の人と触れる事で
錆び付いた自分の優しさがさざ波のように生き返ってくるのを感じたと
またベトナムに行きたいと、たとえ叶わなくても
そう思うだけで心が救われる、そんな人々がいる国だと。

全くまとまりませんでしたが
この理由が知りたい人は是非読んでみてください。

【日常】ホノルルマラソン

毎年僕の誕生日近辺にハワイで開催されている
ホノルルマラソンを目指す事を決心しました。

皆さんご存知の通り
ホノルルマラソンは、制限時間のリミットが
他のレースに比べて緩やかで
初心者ランナーの為のフルマラソンだと思います。

とはいえ42kという非日常的な距離を走るとなると
準備は必要です。

あまり汗をかかない冬のうちに
一度は距離に慣れておこうと思います。

会社に経験者が何名かいらっしゃるので
色々と教えてもらいながら、自分としては
出来る範囲で調整します。

しかし、10k以上走ると
22時には睡魔が鵐と襲ってきます。
Run faster and further!!

I determine to attend Honolulu marathon this year,
it is held in Dec mid every year.

you know that Honolulu marathon is set easier time limit
compared other races for beginners.
but I have to get ready to complete the full distance 42k!!

I'm gonna try to set up myself within it is cold outside.
There is the who is experiencer of this race in my office,
so I'd like to get teach from them,and I absolutely run
as much as I can.

And yet,I coem to go to bed early when I run 10k over.
hahahahahaha.

【日常】iPhone Evernote

iPhoneを購入しました。
今までずっと使ってたAUを解約しての購入です。

購入当時は、文字が打ちづらく
３日もすれば髪の毛が全て白髪になるんじゃないかと
思うくらいストレスを感じていましたが
PCのキーボード打ちが出来るので問題なくなりました。

"Evernote"
絶対使うべきマストツールです。

まだiPhone自体使い始めて３日足らずの僕ですが
iPhoneはこのツールの為に作られたと行ってもいいくらい便利。

PCとiPhoneを連動させ(PCにも同じツールを入れます)
パソコンで作成したメモやフォトを
更にはwebページをクリップとして保存して
iPhoneで閲覧可能、逆もまたしかりというものです。

Firefoxにはwebクリップするための便利なAdd-onがありました。

【読書】殉死 感想

帰省中、新幹線で読み終わる本はということで
今回チョイスした本はレコ。

司馬遼太郎先生の"殉死"です。

主人公は乃木神社、乃木坂で有名な乃木希典将軍です。
その乃木の精神と思想と、明治天皇の崩御とともに殉死した
彼の行動の必然性が書いてあります。

乃木という人は精神を重んじるとても固い人です。
松蔭の師匠の内弟子という環境で幼年期を送ったので納得出来ます。

明治帝は、年の近い彼の武士らしさを愛し、学習院の院長を任せたり
固くいうと寵愛の対象、くだけて言うと仲良しでした。
明治帝の臨終の際、内閣総理大臣よりも先に
乃木は御遺体と対面が許されたほどです。

個人的な見解では明治帝は、オールヒューマンレイスの平和を切望し
繊細な和歌を読まれる事巧みな御方という印象です。
身近なところでは、明治神宮のおみくじ"大御心"には
明治帝の御詠みになられた歌が含まれています。

例を一つ(引用)

四方の海 みなはらからと 思ふ世に など波風の 立ちさわぐらん
(四方の海にある国々は皆兄弟姉妹と思う世に
なぜ波風が騒ぎ立てるのであろう)

ある部分で乃木と共通した部分があったので
互いに引かれ合ったのかもしれませんね。

筆者は軍人としての乃木を
"これほど悲惨な無能はない"と否定的に書いています。
が人格としては、新渡戸稲造の『武士道』ではないですが
思想的に美しく一途に描こうとしています。

巧くまとまりませんでしたが
当時世間に衝撃を与えた殉死と、乃木の人格に触れたい方には
オススメの一冊です。

【book】Jun shi(Joint Suicide)
I picked up a book as much as I can finish reading in Shinkansen,
that is "Jun shi"published by Ryotaro Shiba.

Featuring Maresuke Nogi,he is the general of Great Japan.
this story is his joint suicide for Mutsuhito the Great(Meiji Tennou)
with him better half and his mind and ideology.

Nogi has a stuff neck prefering mind to activity,
because he was a student of Shoin Yoshida's cousin.
definitely I got it!!
will you?

Mutsuhito the Great gave him the president of Gakushuin,
so to speak,he like Nogi so much!!

Then I got a negative stuff in this works,but
as much as I got a good impression about Nogi
from author opinions.

Though I can't put together well,
I definitely recommend this title for persons who got interest in Nogi,
and joint suicide of Bushido.
